Why choose Santosh K. Pawar?

My personal experience immigrating and reestablishing myself in the United States was challenging. The journey has enabled me to understand the emotional and legal process of moving to a new country.  I understand that individuals who take the initiative to immigrate and build better lives for themselves and their children need a lawyer who understands their inspirations, whose name they can trust, and who can guide them through the complex web of legal uncertainties and new immigration policies. I strive to assist my clients in realizing their goals by evaluating their immigration needs, examining given documents, discussing personalized immigration options to provide the most appropriate strategies for each case.

My name is Santosh K. Pawar, an attorney based in Rochester, New York specializing in immigration, family law, and property law. Since my law firm was established in 1993, we have successfully represented almost 1000 individuals, households, and businesses. We offer services in Hindi, Punjabi, and Urdu and have represented clients from over 15 countries.

As a proponent of equality, I use my firm as a platform to empower women by using knowledge of the legal system to enforce their civil liberties. I have found that while the legal system advocates justice and unalienable rights, the reality is that this information is not always accessible to people who can use it the most. I have supported numerous survivors of spousal abuse by assisting them in obtaining permanent resident status under the “Violence Against Women Act.” I am also an active volunteer attorney for Volunteer Legal Services Project of Monroe County.
